Review:

Wee Sing and Learn 123 is a very colorful, whimsically illustrated ocean-themed counting app designed for young children. The appealing teaching-characters include fish, whales, sharks, dolphins, octopi, squid, otters and more introduce the numbers 1 - 12. Sing & Count is a narration and song for each number up to 12. After the number is introduced with the song, the child is asked to count a similar number of the same creature on the next page. 123 Song is basically a music video to be watched with little or no interaction. Explore 123 shows each number on a grid and there is voice over when touched. Count Animals is a matching game with narration reinforcing the correct action. Draw 123 provides a template for little fingers to drag along to write the numbers from 1 to 12. The last activity is a coloring book with black and white line drawings of 10 sea creatures. Upon selecting an animal to color, the image is enlarged and drawing tools made available. The endearing animated characters and illustrations and the cheerful nursery rhyme inspired songs help early learners count beyond their fingers or toes.
