Review:

Jonna Carter's tag story tells about how a Funny Frog cheered up a lifelong curmudgeon by telling jokes. If the tag were bigger, we're sure to have read that the frog's repertoire included: Why are frogs so happy? (Because they eat what bugs them!) What is a frog's favorite flower? (Croak-us!) How does a frog feel when he has a broken leg? (Unhoppy!)

This hand puppet can be manipulated into displaying practically any emotion or expression, thus making it a versatile addition to a child's toy collection. One hand enters into the frog's body, and up to four fingers may be used for "frog actions," while the two back legs either dangle loosely or "sit" on the puppeteer's lap. Stories containing frog characters are plentiful, and children can have hours of both fun and learning with this utterly charming puppet.
