Review:

The Kidizoom Action Camera by Vtech is a small camera that is mounted on a bike, a scooter or a skateboard. The camera, a waterproof case, a mounting shell and attachment, adhesive flat mount, mike mount, micro-USB cable, double sided tape, and a quick start guide are all included.

The directions were easy to understand as well as easy to explain to both my four and six year olds. All accessories are made of plastic and very durable. (Despite our few falls on the bike and scooter the camera still works well.) The buttons are big and have very simple symbols for children to understand. We easily mounted the camera to my daughter's bike, explained to her which button to push to record video and which button to push to take pictures, and off she went! My son (the four year old) needed a little extra explaining but he quickly understood. Moving the camera from my daughter's bike to my son's scooter was effortless; just a few simple turns of a screw.

The videos and pictures were easy to upload to our computer with the help of the USB cable included. There is also a program to create fun effects to the photos or video, with the option to email the results. The camera records for about two hours which is enough time to get some pretty awesome, and sometimes hilarious, footage of a kid's journey through the neighborhood. In our family, the Kidizoom Action Camera has become like the American Express Card commercial: my kids don't ride their bikes without it.
