Review:

Banzai Beans is a numbers and math based game in which a group of ninja beans trying to defend their kitchen and their friends from Shiitake Sheffu, the evil mushroom villain.

Using the LeapTV controller in the "wand" mode, players work through 20 levels of gameplay in this roster of early math, physics and strategy. Players throw beans at Shiitake Sheffu's block structures in order to knock them down and free their bean friends trapped inside. Although you could just hurl beans at the blocks willy-nilly and hope for the best, our young players enjoyed figuring out the most strategic way to hit the blocks with fewest beans to achieve the objective.

Parent fans of LeapFrog games rejoice: Banzai Beans: Ninja Number Challenge can be purchased online using your LeapFrog account and downloaded directly to your LeapTV. Some may call the move away from game cartridges eco-friendly, others, a budget and sanity loss-protection system.
