Review:

A friendly animated kangaroo greets the player, inviting her/him to join a game of hide-and-seek where the kangaroo hides and the player must scroll through the woods to find her. When found, the player earns a word to put in a treasure box. After 3 or 4 rounds of hide and seek, players work through their sight words via 10 games and activities that include, but are not limited to interactive versions of Bingo, Whack-a-Mole, Construction, and Memory Match. Designed for reader levels from Pre K - Grade 3, the app offers 320 English sight words to learn, write, and play with - in upper or lower case letters. The artwork and characters are appealing; the palette bright and appropriate for young students. The minimal instructions are clearly and kindly presented; no nagging or unwarranted praise is anywhere in sight or earshot.

Parent settings include 22 language options for the parent dashboard complete with a 26 page pdf curriculum, a choice of English, American or Australian accented narration, multiple child profiles and success tracking, and the opportunity to add custom words to the game. We echo our testers' comments of "Well designed and well received."
