National Geographic Little Kids

Spring 2016 Magazines
Ages: 3 - 6 yrs.
Newsstand Price: $3.99
Subscription Price: $15.00 / 6 Issues

National Geographic Kids has a little sibling ideally suited for the preschool-to-primary grades set. Just like its sister publication, National Geographic Little Kids features beautiful photos and fun facts that highlight the natural world. Limited text and larger font size make the information age-appropriate and easily accessible for new readers, and the smaller dimensions fit just right in little hands. Recent topics are those that often capture the attention of young children: baby animals, space, and butterflies all make regular appearances. Each issue contains simple skill builders, such as matching, patterning, sequencing, or naming, and tear-out animal cards are a fun bonus. A fine reading choice for home and classroom use, and a well placed stepping-stone into the larger Nat Geo world.
