Tonka Workshop CD-ROM Playset
1999 SoftwareReview:
A fun-and-games merger of low-tech and high tech play time, the program includes a plastic workshop that straps on top of your rectangular keyboard (not Microsoft Naturals). Kids use workshop tools--hammer, drill, saw, screwdriver, sander and sprayer--to build on-screen projects in the virtual barn, storage shed, tree house, etc. Creative handikids head for the cellar to make up their own designs. It's a hands-on perspective on computers for younger kids.
