Review:

"I believe every kid has a dream inside of them," says NFL star Cam Newton at the start of this inspirational show designed to help kids realize special and specific goals.

The affable Carolina Panthers quarterback knows that mentors and coaches are important and can make a difference, so he uses the show to help out kids who have particular goals in mind.

We meet Kaden, 12, who is determined to do a certain trick as he works towards becoming a BMX superstar. Newton surprises him by bringing a BMX pro to his workout session to help him out.

And we meet Soleil, 8, who is wise beyond her years and wants to be a vet. Newton takes her for a special behind-the-scenes day with a veterinarian.

We also meet the adorably outspoken Jake, 9, who wants to be a fashion designer. He weeps with joy when Newton surprises him with a visit from fashion guru Tim Gunn and later takes him to meet famous designer Bob Mackie, who helps Jake sew his own first runway gown. "I'm so scared and at the same time, I'm so happy," says a star-struck, grateful Jake.

Newton also helps out Rosie, 9, who is convinced she wants to be president someday. He takes her meet Jennifer Roberts, the mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina. "I want to be able to fix problems in the world," Rosie explains.

As with each of the kids featured on the show, it's inspiring to see how bold and confident they are - a good reminder to us all to stay focused and determined if we want to achieve our goals. A little help from Cam Newton wouldn't hurt, either.
