PBSKIDS.orgSpring 2017 Website
The PBS Kids website features your child's favorite PBS characters: Arthur, Clifford, Super Why, Sid the Science Kid, Elmo, and more. Children can easily navigate the bright and colorful website to access fun and educational games (new, popular and hard), stories, videos, and coloring pages. Some of the games and activities focus on standard "book learning;" children can play Snowflake Match with Sid the Science Kid, Spell with Caillou, learn letters with Clifford, or practice following directions by making cakes with Super Why and his friends, or problem solve with the Seuss-styled Invention Engine. But, the lessons don't stop there, because children can learn and practice social and emotional intelligence by watching videos, reading stories, and playing games with Daniel Tiger. The website offers hours of entertaining and educational activities for children of a wide range of ages. And, because the material on the website is strictly PBS Kids content, parents can be assured that their children are safely exploring within the PBS walls. Allowing children to be independent in their use of the website can help foster independence and a sense of self-efficacy. This free resource is filled with opportunities to learn and play.
