Lucky Dog with Brandon McMillan

Lucky Dog with Brandon McMillan

Spring 2017 Television
Ages: 13 - 16 yrs.
Rating: TV G
Review:

Dogs who find a way to Brandon McMillan's doorstep are definitely lucky dogs.

Not only does he rescue them from his local shelter, but also he trains them and then finds a loving home for them.

The show is heartwarming and uplifting; McMillan is kind and uses a positive treat-reward training method. Kids who watch should note how patient he is with the dogs and try to learn some tips for teaching the seven main commands - Sit, Stay, Come, Heel, Off, No, Down.

If you're thinking of bringing a dog into your family, this show will probably clinch it for you, as McMillan makes it seem that any dog can be nursed and nurtured until he or she ultimately finds a proper, loving home.
