The King's EarsSpring 2017 Mobile Apps
Based on the book The King has Goat Ears, written by Katarina Jovanovic and illustrated by Phillipe Beha, this lively retelling of a Serbian folktale is a lesson in liking yourself for who you are.
The King, ashamed of his goat ears, refuses to let his barbers leave the palace lest they betray his secret. One by one, a barber is summoned to cut the king's hair, and one by one, the barber is kept, along with the Royal secret, behind the palace walls.
Not wanting to follow in his colleagues' path, the last village barber is more than a little hesitant to mess with the King's tresses. So Igor, the barber's young assistant, offers to take his master's place. Igor does his job well, keeps his composure and the King's secret. The King is pleased, and Igor is rehired. But keeping a secret that big is hard. What will happen if the villagers find out?
