Pocoyo Playset – 3D ShapesSpring 2017 Mobile Apps
Join Pocoyo and his friends as they learn and explore the six basic three-dimensional forms: the sphere, cube, rectangular prism, cone, cylinder, and pyramid in five play modes. The material, presented in a straightforward, child-friendly manner, comes to life through lesson-games that are age appropriate in concept, challenge, and appeal. In the Shape Workshop, children learn the names and basic properties of the forms; they also learn to associate those forms with real-world objects (e.g, a cereal box is a rectangular prism, a ball is a sphere, etc.) by placing stickers on the forms. Players progress from single forms to combinations of multiple forms to create complex objects such as robots, rockets and trucks. Children can use their Shape Notebook to draw, take pictures, and record sounds about their new shapes. And, they can watch videos to learn new vocabulary (e.g, face, side, etc.) in the Math Machine. In the Toy Factory, a matching game, children help Pocoyo and his friends gather only the shapes on their labeled carts. And, in the Story Maker, children create stories with backgrounds and character stickers, offering a creative and imaginative activity to playfully practice what they've learned.
