Review:

This dinosaur robot is a little powerhouse. It comes with a "transmitter" (aka, remote control), neck lock, sticker for decorating the neck lock, a ball for the robo-dino to play with, and a brief instructional booklet.

Train My Dino has two modes, mild (training) and wild. When the neck lock is in place, the dino's eyes turn green, he makes friendly sounds and gestures, and can be controlled directly via the transmitter, or set to follow the transmitter via his infrared sensors. Removing the neck lock, switches the dino into Wild mode and he begins to roar, growl, and make somewhat menacing movements.

The dino features a touch sensor on his head so that he can tell when children are petting him and act accordingly. He also comes equipped with infrared sensors that not only allow him to play follow-the-leader with children, but help him to avoid, quite successfully, obstacles in his path. He can be "trained" to following children's hands and even be controlled to play with a small toy ball (included). Despite the product's name, there is very little training to be done; play is simple, intuitive, and downright fun.
