Review:

Two dudes and lots of open land—that's Rock the Park. The series showcases the adventures of Jack Steward and Cotton Smith, pals who "share a passion for our national parks and other wild places around the world."

Through these two guys, we see awe-inspiring scenes found in nature. "Spotting and scanning for wildlife is my favorite thing," gushes Smith, and he really seems to mean it. You should hear him when he sees a grizzly bear in Denali Park. And when they go to Glacier National Park, Smith says, "It's so profound." He adds, "I get emotional when I come to these places."

In our text-obsessed, phone-demanding world, it's nice to see these two show hosts enjoying vast open spaces outdoors as they contemplate where to pitch their tent before an ominous storm arrives. It's nice to see these two taking a 30-mile bike ride at sunset. And it's nice to hear them offer their message on every show: "If we can do it, so can you. Get out and rock the park."
