Review:

Vroom! Stinky the garbage truck, and Dirty, the backhoe loader, are best buds and the stars of this original animated children's program from Amazon, based on the "I Stink!" book series by Kate and Jim McMullan.

These two vehicles are clearly hard workers who always seem to have a problem to solve—like the time their friend needed a piece of roller coaster track to be lifted up and connected to another piece of roller coaster track. How could they get the job done? It took several tries and a lot of asking, "What if we … ? " Stinky and Dirty find that they often don't succeed at first, but they don't give up until the task is completed.

In one segment, Stinky needed to make a landing strip at the dump, but he'd lost his voice. How would he explain to Dirty what he needed? And in another episode, Stinky and Dirty went into a parking garage to play and got locked in for the night. Was there any way to get out? One thing they learned: Waiting is hard. But they did it.

Good lessons about perseverance pervade the series. Stinky and Dirty also highlight the fact that communication is important and that solving problems successfully can be very rewarding.
