Side one on this aptly named collection of contemporary, classical and traditional songs ends with an exquisite performance of Bela Bartok's "For Children, vol. 1, no. 3," an instrumental with piano and soothing bird sounds. This unusual selection, Stephen Foster's "Beautiful Dreamer," an a capella "Mockingbird, A La Nanita" from Mexico and other carefully chosen pieces are musical balm for restless souls. Flutist Molly Conole's pure, silvery soprano perfectly complements keyboard artist Nancy Waldman's delicate, knowledgeable touch.
