Fall 2001 Games
Ages: 6 & Up
Price: $22.00
Review:
Four games from various cultures are easy to learn because of similarities to American games. Both Seega from Egypt and Achi from Ghana are related to tic-tac-toe, Picaria is a three-in-a-row game from the pueblos of New Mexico, and Snake Race from Egypt is played forward and back on a spiral path. Although all are easy to learn, they require some strategic thinking. Each includes instructions and a brief historical background. Each game is separately packed in a CD-style case for convenient storage or travel portability. Some stores may sell the games individually, as well as in four-packs.
