Review:Sharp, sophisticated and filled with fun, this video will captivate and delight while it illustrates the importance of working together. An opening song (reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen) rocks with lyrics about working "the whole day through." Cody, the giant excavator, is the kind and calm worker who doesn't want to step in and boss everyone else around. Someone has to take charge, however, over Barry the bulldozer, Gus the cement truck (whose voice sounds like someone from The Sopranos), Mitch the dump truck, and Rachel the skid steer (a zippy little vehicle) in order to get the big building finished on time. Gravel is being pushed around willy-nilly, safety becomes an issue, and everyone begins to blame everyone else. Once Cody points out that they should make a plan and work as a team, all ends well. Cody's Crew offers a good message without being preachy and appealing graphics to entertain and teach all kids.
