Review:
Danny lives with her divorced mother who both acts and teaches drama part-time at Bradshaw School for Girls where part of her pay goes for free tuition for Danny. When Danny begins to suspect something has gone financially awry, her suspicions are confirmed by snobby peers.

The protagonist is an appealing budding writer who fantasizes about her absent father. The denouement, caused by Danny, is nothing like her fantasies. An engaging comic novel.
