Review:
We know Kermit as a grown up, but now we get to see him as a 12-year-old, in this prequel to the green star's other films. It's a story of friendship, of following your dream, and of finding out that home is always a safe harbor. Kermit and best friends Goggles and Croaker decide to leave the Deep South swamps to do something extraordinary with their lives. They wind up helping two pals who are about to become the main attraction in biology class, taught by a doctor who is a little over the top in the mad scientist department. A couple of fun songs are thrown in, along with a cute shaggy dog named Pilgrim who helps them every step of the way on their quest. Watch for the inside joke of a boy who helps Kermit; his mailbox says Henson. The outtakes at the end are funny, too.
